Craniosacral Therapy 1

Two-day workshop in Seattle, Wa.

Day one: Wednesday, October 10th,2018, 9:00am-6:00pm. 
Day two: Wednesday, October 17th,2018, 9:00am-6:00pm. 

We will explore the anatomy, mechanics and energetics of the craniosacral system including the bones, membranes, sutures, and diaphragms associated with this cerebrospinal fluid system.

You’ll practice and deepen palpation skills that will increase your effectiveness both in cranial work and all of your bodywork modalities. You’ll learn techniques to address the craniosacral system, how to weave them into a thorough protocol as well as creatively applying them to each client’s situation.

After this class you’ll be able to focus an entire manual therapy session on the craniosacral system as well as integrating it into a more general session.

In this class, you will learn:

  • Detailed anatomy, biomechanics and energetics of the craniosacral system.
  • Palpation skills to feel the cranial rhythm and assess the whole craniosacral system.
  • Techniques to address sutural, membraneous and dural, and fascial restrictions within and beyond the craniosacral system.
  • Indications and contraindications for treatment

Craniosacral Therapy can help patients with neck, jaw, face and shoulder pain as well as:
